ただ、薬の評価は安さだけで決まるものではありません。ジェネリック医薬品より先発医薬品がお得だと思っている人も多いです。それは、薬を一度に大量に服用しなければならない病気になっている患者さんです。ジェネリック医薬品の中には、先発医薬品より分量を多く服用しなければならないものがあります。服薬量の多い患者さんの薬には、ジェネリック医薬品にすると分量の増える薬が含まれる可能性は高くなります。
これから高齢化社会になっていく以上、患者の服薬量に応じたきめ細かな対応が必要です。（HACHI）
